Paw Check is a browser extension that reads publicly stated product information on supported retail websites and cross-references it against public safety databases (FDA, CPSC, EU Safety Gate, PETA, Leaping Bunny). Scores and ratings are automatically generated from this data.
Paw Check is an informational tool, not a certified safety authority. Scores are based solely on information publicly stated by retailers at the time of the check, which may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. An absence of flags does not mean a product is safe; a flag does not necessarily mean a product is dangerous.
Always consult a qualified veterinarian before making health-related decisions for your pet. Paw Check accepts no liability for decisions made based on its ratings.
Free accounts may perform up to 2 full backend checks (recall and cruelty-free lookups) per day. Material scoring runs locally and is unlimited. Circumventing the daily limit (for example, by generating multiple installation IDs) is a breach of these terms and may result in access being blocked.
A paid license key grants access to the Pro tier features described on the pricing page at the time of purchase. License keys are issued to an individual and are non-transferable.
Each license key may be activated on up to 5 devices (browser installs). Once 5 devices have been registered, the key will not activate on additional installs. If you need to transfer a license to a new device (for example, after replacing a computer), contact us and we will reset your device count.
Sharing a license key publicly or distributing it to others is prohibited and may result in the key being revoked without refund.
Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Lifetime licenses are non-refundable after 14 days from purchase. Contact us within 14 days if you have an issue and we will resolve it.
The Paw Check extension, scoring logic, brand assets and this website are owned by Paw Check. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute or create derivative works without written permission.
You may not use Paw Check in any automated, scraping or bulk-query fashion. The service is intended for individual, personal use on a human-operated browser.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Paw Check after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be announced at [email protected] for registered users.
